Jesuit Menino Gonsalvez makes himself Sri Menino Swami

A small church in the village of Deshnur, India is built and decorated in the tradition of Hindu temples. Of a few hundred inhabitants, less than twenty are Catholics, with the remainders being Hindu or Muslim. But all of them meet around the swami, their spiritual animator, Fr. Menino. The church is full; people sing, they pray. This is the practice of interreligious relations. Look at the photos and listen to Fr. Menino who talks about the universal relationship of love he has with the people of his village.
