Freedom and obedience are "two virtues that advance if they walk together", particularly in the mission of the Jesuits, who are called to be "free and obedient, following the example of Saint Ignatius". The Pope stressed this by receiving in audience on the morning of Monday, December 3, in the Hall of the Consistory, the community of the international college of Jesus, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of its foundation.
