When we tell someone that we are “Socius”, we get big questioning eyes. Socius is a typical word in Jesuit vocabulary that hides a demanding daily commitment to accompany the Provincial or Regional Superior in all his functions. It is a job that can be learned and this is why, from time to time, the General Curia organizes a colloquium for the new socii.

During the week of March 18 – 23, the participants interacted with various officials at the General Curia and acquainted themselves with the processes and procedures of the Society. This will enable them to assist their Provincials/Regional Superiors in their relations with Rome. The Secretary of South Asia Assistance, Peter Raj, is coordinating this colloquium.
